Navigating growth in AdTech is very challenging. As middleware, adtech is dependent on grabbing more money from publishers or advertisers. This benefits shareholders, but often doesn't benefit the ecosystem supporting the engine of adtech. In this video, our founder Keith Gooberman talks through those challenges and why it's hard for an adtech company to succeed on the public markets. At Pontiac, we maintain that our independence is a massive strength and benefit to our clients and partners. We aim to streamline the system technologically and financially and don't have investors or shareholders expecting the highest possible margins.
Why is it so hard to be a public ad tech company? I tackle that in the video today. I also took this opportunity to wear a shirt i purchased for a 70s themed party which my wife said I would never wear again. Well, look at that! Also, while many businesses are built on margin, very few have margins as high as ad tech for the volume of transacted dollars.
