My thoughts on the ACA Market: * As we enter week three since the CMS ruling, Volume is down about 38% (averaged from the vendors I consult for) * CMS was a part of the ACA Health Summit Coalition call last week (as were many others) Marketplace wait times, and helping the Spanish speaking sector of the marketplace are at the top of the agenda. * Effectuation rates will surely climb, but we will have real data from the changes by August 15th. * CPA’s will climb too (My guess is the avg CPA on an ACA policy will be $135-$155) when all is said and done. * Its too early to tell now, but LTV’s will surre skyrocket now that the AOR switching has been tackled. * Over the last few months, I have been posting on the changes coning to the ACA landscape. We are smack dab in the middle of them now. * Some are comteplating leaving the vertical, while others already have. New agencies are forming. * The ACA Health Summit Pre OEP Stakeholders Meetup in Salt Lake City, September 30th will be even more important now as we all prepare for the upcoming season.
