Kingdom Holding Company Confirms Resumption of Construction on 1,000m Jeddah Tower 🇸🇦 The Jeddah Tower, set to become the world’s tallest building when completed in 2028, has resumed construction, with significant progress already underway. Rising over 1,000 meters in height, this landmark project will transform the skyline of Jeddah and further cement Saudi Arabia’s place as a global leader in architectural innovation. Concrete Pouring Resumes Kingdom Holding Company, the developer of the Jeddah Tower, confirmed on Monday that construction has restarted, including the vital concrete pouring phase. The announcement was made in the presence of Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, Chairman of Kingdom Holding, along with the company’s CEO, Eng. Talal Almaiman, and key representatives from various architectural and real estate firms. Concrete pouring is currently taking place at the 64th floor, and with the ambitious goal of completing one floor every four days, the project is on track to meet its 42-month completion timeline. Economic and Technological Impact Once finished, the Jeddah Tower will be part of a massive 5.3 million square meter development, housing between 75,000 and 100,000 residents. The tower’s innovative design and construction techniques, including advanced methods for lifting concrete to unprecedented heights, will set new standards in the industry. Prince Alwaleed expressed appreciation for the strong government support that has helped overcome past financial hurdles, ensuring the project remains on course. This support highlights the Kingdom’s commitment to Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the economy and foster sustainable development. A Global Landmark More than just a skyscraper, the Jeddah Tower will serve as a symbol of economic opportunity, attracting investment and creating jobs in the region. As part of the Kingdom’s broader strategy to position itself as a hub for innovation, the tower is set to become a lasting icon, reshaping both the Jeddah skyline and the future of urban architecture. With construction moving forward rapidly, the Jeddah Tower is well on its way to becoming a transformative structure, embodying Saudi Arabia's aspirations for the future. #tower #jeddah #saudiarabia #vision2030 #saudiprojects #projects #kingdom #architecture #desgin #saudi #construction #saudivision
