Then you'll understand why it is a great honour and privilege for me to be working with the VUKA Group teams, that have seen the successful return of Enlit Africa, and the continual growth of ESI Africa magezine and the Women IN (WIN) series, who now bring to South Africa the C&I Solar + Storage Summit.
Why is this Summit so important? The C&I Solar + Storage Summit comes as many Enlit Africa clients have helped us identify a lack of #RenewableEnergy #generation and #storage #education, especially on the side of Commercial and Industrial buyers. Many buyers have expressed concerns around how to select the best solution for their specific needs, specially with the lurking caution of many South African businesses reporting regret having purchased solutions that do not adequately meet their needs. This sentiment was also echoed by financiers, who often get caught up in the post installation back on forth as the capex partners to these projects.
Given these two major concerns, and having partnered with many industry related organisations, we are responding by launching the C&I Solar + Storage Summit to bring together industry, and #thoughtleaders with demonstrated experience in the Renewable #Energygeneration and #Energystorage space, as well as key prospective buyers. Among them, we would also see financiers, policy makers and influencers, solutions providers, manufacturers, and a limited amount of installation partners.
The aim is to bring the best of the best in South Africa together to unpack the challenges and solutions with hopes of educating the attending delegation of key prospective buyers and offering them solutions to their respective challenges. We also expect the event to be a catalyst to policy change and correction, given the expected participants. Furthermore, the platform will also act as a channel for new partnerships to be formed to drive the industry and accelerate #growth.
