🌍🌬️ Exciting News from V&A Waterfront! 🌬️🌍 The V&A Waterfront has taken a significant step towards sustainability by signing a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Etana Energy. This deal secures 43GWh of renewable energy annually, covering up to 70% of the Waterfront's energy needs by early 2026. This partnership is pivotal in their journey to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2035. Key Highlights: 🔹 43GWh of renewable energy per year from wind and solar farms. 🔹 Up to 70% of energy needs met by early 2026. 🔹 Significant reduction in the precinct's carbon footprint, with 90% of emissions currently from energy purchases.
