Chhattisgarh Commission Grants Solar Power Connectivity Amid Regulatory Challenges In a recent decision by the Chhattisgarh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (CSERC), M/s. Fortune Metals Limited, a consumer of Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited (CSPDCL), sought relaxation of connectivity norms for their new solar PV power plant. The company, located in Raipur’s Siltara Industrial Area, aimed to connect its 2.256 MWp solar facility to the grid via an existing 33 KV feeder, known as the C.G. Ispat Feeder. The issue arose because the existing Grid Code mandated that all generators, including captive plants, must connect through dedicated lines to ensure grid stability and reliability. However, M/s. Fortune Metals Limited […] Read the full story here: https://lnkd.in/dQ-UR52E #solarenergy #alternativeenergy #solarpv #pvsolar #photovoltaic #cleanenergy #cleantech #climatechange #middleeast #africa #india #asiapacific #asia #chhattisgarh #cserc #india #regulatoryaffairs #solarenergy
