I help mid-life female entrepreneurs align their passion and God-given purpose with their outer image, by creating a wardrobe and personal presence that fuels their confidence and success.
HAIR- it’s our “crowning glory” isn’t it??? 👩🏻🦰👩🦳👩🏽🦱👱🏼♀️ Do you know what makes a great hairstyle for you? ❓❓❓ There are many elements that make up a great hairstyle, but I have found these (3) keys need to be “spot on” for you to love it: 1. The shape or silhouette needs to compliment your face shape. My face shape is oblong so it is longer than it is wide. For this reason bangs suit me well. In addition, a little bit of width in the hairstyle near my temples creates the illusion of an oval shape, which is more balanced. 2. The style of the haircut needs to sync with your fashion personality. I love an edgy and unique cut which harmonizes with my dramatic/elegant personal style. If the hairstyle showcases your authentic self and personality, you will love it! Someone with romantic style might prefer soft curls, while a classic usually prefers a more traditional cut that stays in place all day. 3. You need to communicate to your hair stylist what you are willing to do to style your hair. Are you a wash-and-go gal, or do you have an arsenal of styling products and tools? You don’t want a hairstyle that takes 30 minutes to style if you are only willing to spend 10 minutes. There is no right or wrong here… it’s just being honest with yourself and your hairstylist. A good cut is a given, and great communication with your stylist helps as well. Bringing photos or videos helps as well to make sure you and your stylist are on the same page. A giant thank you to Hair by Andy at Salon Lift for my new “do”👍😊👍 If you wonder what hairstyle suits you best, as well as the clothing styles that flatter you, let’s chat. Hairstylist with passion 🤩 Founder, Totem Hair - an onsite pop-up hair salon 💚 Bringing a feel-great factor to London offices, events, workplaces, parties 🚂 Adding value to commute ✨️ Helping staff retention
How to get the best out of your hairdresser or barber? As a professional in the field, here are some friendly tips! Bring Visual Aids: On your first visit, it's helpful to bring a couple of pictures of hairstyles you like—and even those you don’t. This gives your stylist a clear idea of your preferences. Be Punctual: Arriving on time or a bit early for your appointment ensures your stylist can give you their full attention without feeling rushed. This helps avoid a hurried haircut, as there are usually clients scheduled after you. Stick with One Stylist: If you’re satisfied with the results, try to visit the same person consistently. Hairdressers and barbers often give better haircuts once they get to know you, your preferences, and your hair. Building a relationship can lead to more personalised service. Communicate If You're Unhappy: If you're not satisfied with your haircut or styling, it's best to mention it right away or shortly after. While hair can't be put back, adjustments can certainly be made to improve the style. Seek Recommendations: Don’t hesitate to ask for suggestions on suitable hairstyles, different ways to style your hair, and suitable styling products and shampoos. If the salon stocks the products, consider supporting them by purchasing there instead of online. Provide Constructive Feedback: If your last haircut was a bit too long or too short, let your hairdresser or barber know. Constructive feedback helps them better understand your preferences. Maintain Regular Visits: Avoid letting too much time pass between appointments. Aim to visit at least every month or two so your stylist can reassess and adjust your haircut as needed. Value Quality: Be prepared to pay a bit more for better service. More experience, training, and versatility often comes with a higher price. Lower prices might mean less time for your appointment and less experience or training. Or, even better, you could have the Totem Hair pop-up salon at your London office for convenient and professional hair care! #HairAdvice #HairTips #LondonWorkplace #CompanyCulture

in this article, we provided the best 25+ Bun Hairstyles collection in different styles. The Puffy Bun Hairstyles Resolutely modern, this bun will add some pep to your outfit. © Clover Canyon Parade/Imaxtree The right move: Backcomb the top of your head to get maximum volume at the roots. Gently brush your hair back to form a high ponytail. Twist it and form a small dancer’s bun that you will secure to the scalp with pins. Finally, to finish, close the volume by placing a pretty headband on the front. It will create a break between the flattened roots and the mass of the lengths. But, do not hesitate to deliberately let a few strands escape for a less dressed-up effect. See Also: Hairstyles 2025 & Haircuts: The Most Popular Cuts And Hair Color Trends The Braided Crown The braided crown has been a runway classic for a few years now. And we can’t get enough of it! To get a real crown, like the one on the Alice Olivia show, your hair should reach at least the middle of your back. © Alice Olivia Fashion Show/Imaxtree Apply a small amount of smoothing cream to the hair covering the scalp. You will get a beautiful icy effect. Then form a braid at the nape of the neck while leaving a few strands twirling around the face. Secure it with a small, discreet elastic and surround the face with it. To ensure that your hairstyle holds all evening without any problems, secure it very regularly on the scalp with pins. Finally, with a small brush, gently rub the braid to let a few small hairs escape. This is what will give you the style/disheveled look that makes the crown so charming. The Amazon Bun Hairstyles What a presence this bun placed very high on the head has! To obtain the same effect, your hair must be very long. © Jean-Paul Gaultier Haute Couture Fashion Show/Imaxtree The right move: Start with a smooth base, the roots of which you will smooth down with a shaping wax. Then gather all your hair into a very high ponytail at the base of which you will slide two small round crepons. Here, it is the height that counts more than the thickness. Casually wrap your lengths around it and fix everything with bun clips. Gain support by using a good dose of hairspray. For a more “natural” look, wrap leather ties around your bun. The Rolled Bun Hairstyles Multitasking, this hairstyle plays on the trend of the bun as well as that of the faux-bobs. To obtain a more chic effect, start with a very smooth base. If it is not naturally the case, blow-drying is essential. © Sergeenko Parade/Imaxtree The right move: Coat the fibers from the root for about 20cm with a smoothing cream. Then release your hair towards the back while leaving enough flexibility so that those on the side cover your ears. Then, wrap the lengths around a crepe in length horizontally, to cover it completely. You can find them at hairdressing equipment retailers, but you can also cut a large round crepe in two. Butterfly Hair Cut: - The butterfly haircut combines short, wispy layers around the chin with longer layers throughout the rest of the hair. - This creates a beautiful, butterfly-wing effect when styled, hence the name. - Stylists typically start by cutting the face-framing layers first, ensuring they're light and wispy. - Then, they'll add longer layers throughout the hair, maintaining the overall length you desire. - The key is to have a good blend between the short and long layers for a seamless look. Long Layers Hair Cut - Long layers are a versatile haircut that works on most hair types and textures. - Unlike the butterfly cut, long layers don't necessarily have shorter face-framing pieces. - The stylist will add layers throughout the hair, starting from the ends and working their way up. - The placement and thickness of the layers will depend on your desired volume and movement. - Long layers can be blunt cut for a more polished look or point cut for added texture. #FashionTVIndia #ftvsalon #fashiontv #Hair #Salon #ftvsalon #Fsalon #cashiff #fashiontvindia

Click https://bit.ly/3Qy1v7V to check out Bits N' Spurs for Country Western News: Keeping Pace with Today's Rodeo A Rookie's “How To Hat” Guide The appeal of cowboy hats runs deep in American culture. But, if you're new to Western attire (as I was), you're probably worried about doing something ‘wrong' and looking silly. A cowboy hat can add some Western flair to your outfit, or simply provide protection from the elements. But how you wear it depends on your individual style and lifestyle. If you're working on a ranch, a cowboy hat is a functional piece of equipment, but if you're headed to a Western-themed wedding, it can help you both fit in and stand out. Functional yet stylish, a cowboy hat can be worn with everything from jeans to a floral-print dress. Dress it up for the races, or dress it down for a day on the ranch, either way, it will keep you feeling and looking cool— especially if you follow these helpful tips. The best way to wear a cowboy hat is… the right way round! If there's a buckle set or feather decoration, it should sit to the left. Some cowboy hats also have a small bow inside the hatband, which should be worn at the back of your head. Most cowboy hats are narrower at the front, so if it feels too loose around your forehead, you might have it on back to front! You should be able to fit one finger between the hat and forehead, and it should sit level and not tilt to either side. A correctly fitting cowboy hat should rest comfortably above your eyes and not sit too high on your forehead. That way, it will provide optimum shade without obstructing your vision Tips to Look Like a Pro in Your Cowboy Hat. Shaping- Get your hat professionally shaped for the perfect look. Care & Storage- Keep your hat clean and store it properly to maintain its shape. Seasons- Put your straw hat away once summer is over. Short Hair - Keep your hair tidy and simple, and let the hat do the talking. Long Hair Wear your hair down or in a low ponytail or bun. When Driving- Store your hat, don't try to wear it! When Indoors- Take your hat off when indoors, removing it using the crown and placing it carefully crown-side down . #cowboyhat #cowboy #westernwear #rodeo

When planning a professional headshot session with me, here are three tips to ensure the best results: 1. Dress Appropriately: Choose clothing that reflects the professional image you want to project. Solid colors and simple patterns work best, avoiding overly bright colors or distracting designs. Bring a couple of outfit options if possible, so we can experiment with different looks. Make sure your attire is clean, well-fitting, and aligned with the industry you’re in. 2. Prepare Your Look: Pay attention to grooming details like your hair, makeup, and any facial hair. Even if you prefer a natural look, a bit of extra polish can make a difference in how you appear on camera. 3. Relax and Engage: A natural, confident expression is key to a great headshot. I’ll guide you through poses and expressions, but it helps if you come in with an open mind and a relaxed attitude. We’ll create an environment where you feel comfortable, allowing your personality to shine through. Remember to get plenty of rest the night before, so you’re looking and feeling your best. — Book your headshot session at www.cnphotography.co.uk — Follow me on Instagram at @cnphotography.co.uk — #headshotphotographer #businessheadshots #corporateheadshots #brandphotography #marketingphotographer #commercialphotographer
