🔋 Why "Cheapest" Isn't Always the Best Choice in Solar Installation ☀️ In the world of solar energy, it’s easy to be tempted by the lowest price. But when it comes to something as crucial as your energy future, choosing the cheapest option could cost you more in the long run. Here's why: 1. Quality & Durability: Cheaper solar panels often use lower-grade materials, leading to shorter lifespans and more frequent repairs. Investing in quality panels means better performance and less hassle down the road. 2. Hidden Costs: That bargain deal might not include critical components, proper maintenance, or efficient installation. Over time, you could face higher energy bills or additional expenses to fix what wasn't done right the first time. 3. Experienced Labor: Cheap installers may take shortcuts or lack proper certifications. Poorly mounted panels, incorrect wiring, or improper system sizing can lead to inefficiencies, safety hazards, and expensive repairs. 4. Customer Support: Established, reputable solar companies often provide strong warranties, ongoing maintenance, and responsive customer service. Cheaper alternatives may leave you high and dry when issues arise. When it comes to solar energy, you’re investing in long-term savings and sustainability. By prioritising quality and expertise over price, you ensure the system will work efficiently for years to come and save money in the process. 🌱 https://lnkd.in/emC56PB8 #SolarEnergy #BatteryStorage #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability #CleanEnergy #Spark #SolarPower #GreenEnergy #FutureForward #Solar #SparkEnergyUK #EnergyBills #Energy #duracellenergy #SolarPanelInstallation

Ecowattsenergy.com Its been a very busy week for Ecowatts Energy Ltd, with installs taking place nationally. However, I'm still shocked to learn that there are many people who still don't understand the full benefits and savings that solar and battery storage systems provide and offer. There are many myths and tails steming for systems installed from around 1987 onwards, whereby the silicon solar cells were no where near as advanced as today's models. We are often asked: Do we own the panels that you install? The answer is 100% yes. Do you rent the roof space? No, this was of the back of the Government Feed-in-tariff (FIT) scheme. Can I still get a FIT payment? The FIT scheme has been replaced by the smart export guarantee (SEG), which came in on 1 January 2020. Like the FIT scheme, it pays you for any surplus electricity you produce but don't use. Ecowatts Energy Ltd set this up with your supplier and notify them via a G98 or G99 application. Will it affect the value of my house? GOV.UK has released stats proving that solar increases house prices as much as 25% in some areas. Do I need a battery? This depends on your usage, night rate and roof space to put panels on. If you have any doubts or questions relating to solar installations including EV charges, please don't hesitate to email me: thomas@ecowattsenergy.co.uk info@ecowattsenergy.com

Most people suck at understanding solar energy. But if you avoid these 5 common mistakes, I guarantee you won’t. Mistake: "Ignoring Site Evaluation." → Not evaluating the site properly for solar installation. Do this instead: ↳ Hire a professional for thorough site evaluation. ↳ Consider factors like sunlight exposure, shading, and roof condition. Mistake: "Skipping Energy Audit." → Not understanding your energy needs before installing solar. Do this instead: ↳ Conduct an energy audit to know your power consumption. ↳ Optimize your energy use to get the most out of your solar system. Mistake: "Cheapest is Best." → Choosing the cheapest system, compromising quality and efficiency. Do this instead: ↳ Research and choose a system that offers the best value for money. ↳ Prioritize efficiency, reliability, and warranty while choosing. Mistake: "Neglecting Maintenance." → Thinking solar panels don’t require any upkeep. Do this instead: ↳ Regularly clean and inspect your solar panels. ↳ Schedule professional maintenance checks annually. Mistake: "Ignoring Storage Solutions." → Forgetting to consider energy storage options. Do this instead: ↳ Research on battery storage systems for energy storage. ↳ Consider your energy needs and budget while choosing a storage solution. Stepping into the solar sector can be challenging, but avoiding these mistakes can be your first step towards a sustainable future. #SolarEnergy #RenewableEnergy
