900 DAYS OF THE TEN-YEAR WAR The 900th day of the confrontation between good and evil, light and darkness is passing - 900 days of russia's groundless, unjustified, brutal and bloody aggression against Ukraine. For 900 days, russia has been trying to destroy Ukraine, Ukrainians, and the entire Ukrainian heritage. At the same time, these are 900 days of heroism, resilience, courage, and unity that amaze the world. 900 days of fighting for our own land, for LIFE. russian invaders continue to shell civilian infrastructure and kill people. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, 10,233 Ukrainian civilians have been killed and 19,289 others have been injured. These are the statistics as of the beginning of 2024, published by the UN Security Council. Therefore, as of 11 August 2024, these figures are much higher. At least 1,993 children in Ukraine have been killed or injured since Russia's full-scale invasion. On average, this is two children every day And these are only official statistics based on the bodies that the Ukrainian authorities have access to. If we talk about Mariupol or other settlements where the bodies of Ukrainians remain, the figures will be even more horrific. These are just the civilian casualties, and it's scary to think how many soldiers will never return to peaceful life again! They are the pride of the nation, true patriots, the best of the best: people who until February 2022 were experts in their field, doctors, teachers, engineers, etc. Losing each of them, we lose our future. It is not the Marvel superheroes who are resisting this invasion of the wild horde, but ordinary guys who have been through hell and have become legendary heroes. Many of them have been on the battlefield since the first day of the full-scale invasion. One of these heroes, who has been fighting with his comrades for 900 days, is Yuriy Sydora from my town. Recently, he addressed to our volunteer team with Antonina Kozurak with a request to help buy an anti-drone jammer for him and his colleagues from the 33rd Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is beyond bizarre that fundamental humanitarian rights and State responsibilities -- such as not killing newborn babies -- needs to have repeated visibility in social media. For weeks, hospitals, patients, doctors, nurses, EMTs and humanitarian workers have been savagely attacked and killed in unprecedented numbers -- not to mention the thousands of other defenseless civilians bombed to death with US weaponry, and countless dead crushed under collapsed buildings. This savagery is of epic proportions of destruction and disgrace. All healthcare professionals in the world should unite, individually and through professional associations -- must unite -- to demand an immediate end to this barbaric slaughter, and insist on uncompromising accountability of all political, military, and religious leaders and organizations complicit in the butchery. If we do not act here and now, there will surely be brutal recurrences in the future, using current silence and impunity as permission to wreak inhumanity in the name of national security and religious presumption.

It is Avdiivka "liberated" by russians and now the last remaining Ukrainians are fleeing the ruins of the city with their pets. This outcome became possible due to 🚫 the delayed response from the West 🚫 a shortage of ammunition, exacerbated by political maneuvering in the US, notably by Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson. As U.S. aid for Ukraine hangs in the balance in Congress, the course of action rests in Johnson's hands. The decisions made by the Republican leadership will determine whether the House will approve additional aid for Ukraine or let the U.S. commitment falter, potentially spelling the end for the embattled young democracy in Kyiv.
