Hey connections... I am here to share about three point starter.A three-point starter helps in starting and running the shunt-wound motor or compound wound DC motor. The starter uses the three terminals for starting the motor. The four-point starter uses the four terminals for the acceleration of the motor. Armature terminal, field terminal, and the Line terminal. the working of the 3 point starter. Initially, the handle is set to the OFF position when the power is supplied to the DC motor. Then handle is gradually moved against the spring force to connect with stud No. 1. As of now, field winding of the shunt or the compound motor helps supply through the parallel path given to starting resistance, through No Voltage Coil. whereas the entire initial resistance is connected to the armature in series. #snsdesignthinkers #snsdesignthinking #designthinking

he wind direction indicator is designed to indicate the strength and direction of the wind. It consists of a rotating mast, a mechanism including a basket that allows the installation of a sleeve (for airstrips and airfields suitable for nighttime operation), and a low-intensity obstruction lighting lamp mounted on top of the wind vane. The rotary mechanism is made with double-row angular contact bearings, ensuring stable operation and resistance to thrust and radial forces. The windlass basket is made of SS316 acid-resistant steel. The windsock can optionally be equipped with a twilight sensor that activates the wind sleeve lighting and turns on the obstruction lighting fixture. The indicator can be installed on metal and breakable poles. The construction of the mast allows the installation of the device without anchoring to the ground. The weather vane is made of three ballast blocks and tension ropes. The ball joint ensures the connection of the mast with the ballast arms. Each of the three ballast blocks consists of 4 pieces of concrete blocks weighing 24 kg each. Each of the three ballast blocks consists of 4 pieces of concrete blocks weighing 24 kg each. The use of this load weight allows the weather vane to work at wind speeds up to 140 km/h.
