DEEP REALITY: The “cablefication” of streaming was always going to happen! Yet it will still loose money, as THIS audience, is not THAT audience, and NEVER Will BE Again. Bundles will Die, Ala Carte Media will Prevail, Sports Piracy will Increase, Funds are drying Up, and Time is Running Out! Bring Back 50% Profits Instantly, Agnostically, and Non-Competively...I Guess WE Will Have to Wait for The Bosses to Sellout Fast and Cover, Before Wall Street (& the People) Makes "Them Pay". Advertising technology expert. Consulting, custom research -TAMs, market shares, forecasts, surveys, evaluations, competitive info-, go-to-market pieces.
The streaming video/CTV doom loop continues. No profitability - higher prices - more advertising - less spending on original production/less new quality content - fewer viewers - go back to start. From the advertiser's point of view this will lead to consolidation, less choice, less competition, lacking innovation in advertiser-facing products, higher ad prices.

ConnectADtv- The impact of TV | The precision & measurement of digital. Maximize AD investment & influence 727 580 4857
CTV & Streaming is rapidly becoming the dominant platform for entertainment, news, and sports. It was once commonplace to hear skepticism about streaming's ability to replace traditional broadcast and cable television, particularly for local news and sports coverage. However, this narrative has dramatically changed. Today, most television stations offer dedicated streaming apps, making local news accessible to viewers on any internet-connected device. The emergence of FAST channels has further expanded the availability of live news content. You can even stream cable news like Charter |Spectrum without a cable subscription on Xumo Play. The Spectrum | Charter news apps were once used as an enticement for subscription loyalty. Cord-cutting that dropped cable penetration to less than 50% in many markets has likely caused cable companies to rethink that strategy. The sports industry has also undergone a transformative shift. Major leagues like the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB have all entered into significant streaming partnerships. With each passing season /year, the influence of streaming on local TV stations, cable and sports grows stronger, making it evident that this trend is unstoppable.

✅🖥️ Yahoo Finance (9/12): “In an early renewal of their multi-year deal, the companies said an ad-supported version of Max, which includes all HBO and Discovery+ content, will be available to all Spectrum TV Select packages. Charter is the nation's largest pay TV company. Max and Discovery+ will be added to Spectrum's bundle, which already includes streaming platforms such as Disney+, ESPN+ and Paramount+. As part of the agreement, Spectrum will continue to carry Warner Bros Discovery's TV network portfolio, including sports network TNT, CNN, Food Network and Discovery. The media and entertainment giant's TV business has been struggling due to cord-cutting by consumers and weak recovery in the advertising market.” ⬇️ #streamingtv #ctv #ott #mvpd #cordcutting #avod https://lnkd.in/ey68mGEB
