Mission Complete: Precision and Safety Delivered We are proud to have completed a critical operation for a valued client working on the construction of a new science block at a comprehensive school in Bristol. The site presented a unique challenge: a dual 1400m culverted watercourse running directly through it. To ensure smooth site operations and effective traffic management, our client required the exact location of the culverts. Here’s how we made it happen: • Access and Safety First: Temporary steps were installed on the bank for safe access and egress. Our civil team, equipped with life jackets, safety ropes, and harnesses, carefully removed the large trash screens on the outfall pipes. • Optimized Equipment Setup: A small access track was created to bring the remote jetting reel close to the outfall. • Precise Inspection: Jetting and CCTV operations were carried out, identifying the culverts’ location step by step. • Accurate Mapping: The final phase involved creating a detailed CAD drawing, providing our client with the exact culvert locations. With this comprehensive approach, construction is now set to proceed smoothly in the new year.
