Hey everyone, I'm happy to share that Bhavika Kaliya, Mohammed Sadiq Bagalkot and I achieved 3rd place in the The Applied AI Company (AAICO) February 2024 Hackathon! :D 🔍 The Challenge: Our task was to develop a cutting-edge machine learning classifier for audio commands, ensuring accurate labeling for each incoming audio frame in sequence. 🎤🔢 🎯 Our Approach: We proposed a dynamic solution harnessing Mel-Spectrograms as input for a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). 🌟 By leveraging this powerful combination, we could effectively capture and analyze intricate audio patterns, paving the way for precise command recognition in real time. 🎯💡 🔊 Why Mel-Spectrograms? Mel-Spectrograms offer a robust representation of audio signals, enabling us to extract essential features crucial for accurate classification. 📈🎶 Their ability to capture frequency content over time played a pivotal role in enhancing the performance and robustness of our classifier. 🌐🔊 🚀 Result: Our solution not only met but exceeded expectations, showcasing remarkable accuracy and efficiency in classifying diverse audio commands in real time. 🏆🚀 Thank you for the amazing event Mohammad Arshad, Théo Fagnoni and Phillip Kingston, Decoding Data Science.
