This week i was learning redux by managing the state of my previous react applications which is anecdote app where users can post, vote and create a particular anecdote. I refactor the whole state of my application and use redux library to manage the application state. Learned a lot about redux library such as what is redux and flux, difference between createStore and configureStore method, useDispatch method for sending the action, useSelector method for retrieving the state and show it to the frontend. Atlast import combineStore method from redux in order to combine multiple reducers together in my case "anecdoteReducer" and "filterReducer" and pass them to the provider (in store attribute). code:- https://lnkd.in/gPskcjPd #buildinginpublic

Understing redux part 2, Hey folks, this is 2nd part as I mentioned. 1st part was about understanding useReducer. In this 2nd part, we will look at creating a reducer using redux. const intialState = {   a: 0,   b: 0 } These reducers are going to as the same as we understood in 1st part. Just one difference here is intialState is going to be assigned directly as below. const reducer = (state= intialState, action) => {   switch (action.type) {     case 'stateName/actionName':       return {         ...state,         state.a: action.payload       }     default:       return state   } } 1) You can directly pass type and payload object as shown below const App = () => {   const dispatch = useDispatch()   const add = () => {     dispatch({type: 'stateName/actionName', payload: 3})   }   return <></> } 2) you can use action creators and call these action creators in inside dispatch event as shown below These action creators are either going to have their different files or they can be in the same file as reducers. /* Action Creator */ const ActionName = (arg1) => {   return {type: 'stateName/actionName', payload: arg1} } 1) You can directly pass type and payload object as shown below const App = () => {   const dispatch = useDispatch()   const add = () => {     dispatch(ActionName(3))   }   return <></> } #reactredux #reactjsdeveloper #redux
