Friday Thoughts: As a leader and a former recruiter, I’ve seen it all in the world of talent acquisition. Here’s a piece of advice for both job seekers and employers: It doesn’t matter how skilled or talented you are—if you can’t work well with a team, that talent won’t take you far. Collaboration, adaptability, and the ability to fit into the company culture are just as critical as any technical skill. This is why veterans are such a valuable asset to any organization. From day one, they learn that they are only as strong as the weakest link in their group. Success comes from working together, not just as individuals. When you’re in an interview, don’t just talk about what you can do—talk about what you can do for others. In the HEMS and EMS environments, that’s the mindset that matters most. It doesn’t matter if you’re the best pilot or the best nurse—if you can’t get along with others, it’s not the right job for you. #veteranrecruiting #ems #aviation
