👉 How We Blend Swiss Precision with Spanish Passion 💃 In the world of remote collaboration, bridging the cultural gap between our Swiss headquarters and Spanish team has been both a learning adventure and a source of laughter. Here’s how we successfully merged Swiss precision with Spanish flair: ✨ Actively Transmitting Swiss Values: We put a strong emphasis on instilling Swiss values like punctuality, high-quality standards, and commitment to deadlines. Interestingly, our Spanish team members often showed us up, arriving first at virtual meetings while some of us Swiss, myself included (sorry, guys!), were a tad late! ✨ Holding Regular Physical Meet-Ups (Our DEV Weeks): There's no substitute for face-to-face interaction. We held regular gatherings in Spain, blending work with fun activities like beach workouts, workshops, dinners, and plenty of beers. More than just bonding, these meet-ups significantly strengthened our team unity. The boost in communication afterwards was amazing! ✨ Establishing Open Communication Channels: Open and frequent communication was key. From formal project discussions to casual chats about Swiss chocolates and Spanish tapas, this constant exchange fostered trust and understanding within our team.
