Routeco Live 2024! 🌐 Last month, Routeco gathered over 20 suppliers and more than 350 customers across four venues across the UK for their 'Routeco Live' event, showcasing solutions for an automated future. 🚀 Rockwell Automation hosted seminars away from the main show floor allowing delving deeper into hot topics such as the EU machine safety directive, defense against cyber-attacks, and a sneak peek into their new products and technologies. Each exhibitor had space on the show floor for their new products and solutions, and there were live mechatronics in action, showing cobots, smart vision, I/O link wireless, and end-of-arm tooling. 😎 Market Development Manager, Darren Spearing stated, “Routeco Live 2024 has been a resounding success, thanks to the collective efforts and contributions of our customers, supplier partners, and the entire Routeco team. As we reflect on the insights gained, connections made, and ideas exchanged during the four events, we are filled with optimism and excitement for the future of industrial automation. Together, we will continue to push the boundaries of innovation, drive meaningful change, and unlock new opportunities for growth and success.” 🤝 In addition to focusing on technology, Routeco demonstrated its commitment to community support by donating £5 for each attendee. This resulted in a total donation of £1,790, which will be distributed among the following charities: St Ann’s Hospice, Health for All, Alzheimer’s Society, and St Helena Hospice! "Together change is possible" I loved reading this impact report. Connection & Collaboration are a core value for True Horizon. Both Switchfoot Wealth Limited and Switchfoot Accounting Limited share this core value 🙂. When Nancy Hyne BEng MSc and Ali Fisher - Plans With Purpose offered to run a #DoughnutEconomics workshop for #BLocalSurrey we were proud to help collaborate and host the event. The training room looks great in the photos 📷 but more importantly we were really energised by a day exploring the Doughnut. I can't recommend these workshops highly enough.... In fact I have recommended them to fellow Personal Finance Society member Alan Whittle MSc FPFS who has shared with his local group. There is something really important about the intersection of Financial Planning and Doughnut Economics - I sense ideas to be tapped into that can change the world. They are not fully formed solutions - rather the shape of something beautiful yet to emerge. It will take the imagination and vision of diverse groups to collaborate and co-create solutions before a new shape fully emerges. Hopefully it is a shape that exists within the safe space for humanity-sandwiched between the social foundation and the ecological ceiling. 🍩 Impact is not a straight line between cause and effect, especially when your work is in the facilitation of inspiration. It's a tough thing to report on.

I'm due for my B Corp recertification this year. Which means I've been writing annual impact reports for the past 3 years. And in all honestly, the last couple of years I've found the process quite mechanical. I've shared emissions, donations and all the other things you'd probably expect to see in an impact report.
