Three times in a row! Faber Group achieves 2023 Ecovadis Platinum rating For the third time in a row, Faber Group has received the Platinum Ecovadis sustainability rating! EcoVadis is a leading provider of business sustainability ratings, with a network of more than 75,000 rated companies. With the highest Platinum rating Faber Group resides in the top 1% tier of companies in our industry. Ingrid Faber, CEO of Faber Group: “Receiving the highest Ecovadis rating continuously now for three years is for us the proof that we are doing the right thing when it comes to sustainability and a recognition for all our employees within our divisions IPP, PRS, PAKi, vPOOL and SATIM who have contributed to this great result. The nature of our business -providing circular load carrier solutions, such a reusable and pay-per-use pallets and boxes – is in itself very sustainable and helps our customers to reduce the footprint in their supply chain. In the past few years we have strengthened our sustainability strategy with the Faber Development goals – with focus to reduce the footprint in our own logistics and optimize the usage lifespan of our load carriers – together with our partners throughout the supply chain. Considering Ecovadis tightens its standards each year for their ratings, it means we cannot rest on our laurels  and we have to raise the bar each year on our sustainability performance. If you haven’t heard of “Greewashing” already, you soon will. Defined as: “A practice that involves the use of misleading langurage, imagery or claims to give the impression that a company or its products are more environmentally friendly than they actually are.” The Australian Government has committed to a 43% reduction in emissions by 2030 with a broader goal of achieving net zero by 2050 meaning companies in the logistics sector have to be working on these strategies now. Smartways already have a certified program with Climate Active that is in accordance with Global Greenhouse Gas Accounting and Reporting standards. While others are setting targets, Smartways is already delivering!

It’s been a great start to 2024, having recently been informed by EcoVadis; the world’s most trusted business sustainability rating provider, that we have been awarded a Silver Medal following our latest assessment. The score of 66, places our company amongst the top 13% of companies assessed by EcoVadis, in the past 12 months (85+ percentile). We are extremely honoured and proud to achieve a Silver medal through EcoVadis. We are delighted to share our 2023 Sustainability Report, Together for a better future 🌍🌱🌟 At Ideal Standard International NV we're proud to present our progress and achievements throughout the last year in our ongoing journey towards a sustainable tomorrow. In 2023, we made significant strides, including: 🌍 Reducing our company-wide CO2 emissions by 5% (5,514 tonnes) 🌍 Removing 41.5 tonnes of single use plastic from our product packaging 🌍 Publishing 5,000 Environmental Product Declarations to ensure greater transparency 🌍 More than 90% of our portfolio aligning with at least one of our four EcoLogic criteria. In addition, we increased female recruitment in Europe by 7.5%; launched a comprehensive supply chain due diligence programme; and secured health and safety certification to ISO 45001 for our operations here in the UK and the Czech Republic, meaning all plants across five countries have achieved the accreditation. Nedelko wins Bronze EcoVadis Medal! 🏅   The importance of sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) is increasingly growing in our society. At Nedelko, we have become more aware of the importance of these themes and the role we can play in them. There are still many opportunities in our sector to become more sustainable, and we are motivated to contribute to this. Recently, we participated in the EcoVadis assessment process, and it is with great pride that we can announce that we have completed this assessment with a bronze medal. Nedelko ranks in the top 35% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis. SUSTAINABILTY 🌍: Testing, inspection and certification company SGS is included in the list of the World’s Most Sustainable Companies of 2024, as compiled by TIME magazine and data firm Statista. Ranked 6th out of 500 corporates globally, SGS holds the number one position in the Testing, Inspection and Certification sector. Over 5,000 companies were evaluated based on factors such as external sustainability ratings and commitments, corporate reporting practices and environmental and social stewardship.
