Salary up to $135K Sonja Cotton & Associates is currently seeking a Patent Agent with 2 -5 years’ industry experience and a degree in computer science, computer engineering or experience in a closely related field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in software. This could also include patent experience in image processing, databases, natural language processing (NLP/NLU) and autonomous machines and vehicles. Must be detail-oriented and have advanced technical writing and written skills. Great opportunity for a Patent Agent also interested in an attorney path. Excellent mentorship program working with sophisticated and top patent attorneys! Work on cutting-edge technologies with top tier clients in an emerging new and exciting field! Responsibilities Include: ·     Drafting patent applications for innovative clients, including figures and descriptions. ·     Correspond with patent office re pending patent applications.  ·     Interview inventors about new ideas. ·     -Advise patent litigation teams based on your technical and scientific area of expertise. Qualifications: Strong background in either Computer Science or Engineering Industry experience in software development, Machine Learning/AI, including experience with neural networks and deep learning algorithms in software. ·     2-5 years of patent prosecution experience. ·     Must have top notch technical writing skills and excellent academic credentials.
