About 20 years ago, one of the first cut-to-size quotation requests in a more standardized form was made. 80% of panel cut-to-size manufacturers worldwide still communicate information using Excel spreadsheets, and then use that information to create quotes. I can't think of a single reason why this exchange of excel files shouldn't be automated.
