30 employees and 15 nationalities   As the image below captures, our workdays at :Dribe are shaped by our diverse and dynamic team of employees who engage in collaboration with an open and curious mindset on a daily basis.   Having a multicultural workplace is an incredible advantage that significantly enriches our work at :Dribe. With employees from e.g. India, Ukraine, Poland, Moldova and Greece, we benefit from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and perspectives. And we're beyond proud of this incredible team of developers, business analysts, marketeers, and project managers.   In managing a culturally diverse workforce, fostering internal dialogue, open communication, and community spirit are priorities, we continuously emphasize within our teams. For instance, our approach to feedback is adapted to accommodate cultural diversity to enhance synergies and alignment. Last year, Nicholas and I were looking for a holistic wellbeing solution, with the intention to increase engagement, improve employee wellbeing, and have one platform that connects the whole EMEA region together. We wanted something that would create a sense of healthy competition, motivation, and community, all while doing good for one's mental and physical wellbeing. This is where we met HUMANOO 💛 Our launch of HUMANOO at Hays, has been a tremendous success. We have exceeded all of our goals, just in the first quarter alone. Humanoo, not only provides everyone with a personalised health plan, but also rewards the users’ efforts in taking care of themselves with “diamonds” 💎, which can be converted into gift cards, planting trees, collecting plastic waists, and even a cash prize 💰. Since the launch, as a collective, our EMEA region and Switzerland has: 🔹 Collected over 20kgs of plastic waste 🗑 🔹 Planted over 60 trees 🌳 🔹 Walked a total of 484M steps. As 2023 draws to a close, I reflect on a year that redefined 'crazy' for me. Surpassing 100,000 km in work travel, it was a year of immense professional growth intertwined with personal challenges, marked by significant wins and deep personal losses. This journey was more than a series of flights; it has been an integral part of a transformative experience, continually teaching me about the complex beauty of growth and the inevitable ebbs and flows of life. Five years ago with Wizeline, I parachuted myself to Europe as a leap into the unknown – with a heart full of dreams in a landscape where nothing was established. It was a blank canvas, ripe for innovation and creation. Now, as 2023 ends, those 100,000 km symbolize more than distance (or carbon emissions I did made up for 🌿 ); they represent a commitment to customer centricity and making things happen. In the realms of consulting and technology services, I've learned that true customer connection means being present, face-to-face, in those pivotal moments of decision-making. It’s much more than meetings; it’s about being close to strategize, brainstorm, and find solutions together. This direct, client-centric approach has been fundamental in transforming the EMEA region into our fastest growing hub, thriving despite the complexities of a mature market and the constraints of pretty though years. As I officially assume the role of Managing Director for Wizeline in EMEA, it feels like a natural next step in the work we've been doing. It's more than just a new title for me – it's about continuing to make an impact, facing our challenges head-on, and driving growth with our customers, just as we've always done. I'm grateful for this opportunity, which really is about focusing on making things happen not on the things we lack. I extend my deepest thanks to our customers, Wizeline’s executive team and colleagues who have placed their unwavering trust in me. Your support and dedication have not only been the cornerstone of my success but have also been instrumental in the broader success of our company.
