Happy World Water Monitoring Day! Today, as we unite to honor one of Earth’s most vital resources, we’re happy to share some fun news. Our annual SonTek photo contest has always been a favorite, but this year, we want to make everyone a winner! We invite you to share your water monitoring stories, along with your photos and videos. Sharing the successful installation of a SonTek SL-1500 at Waterboard Hunze en Aa’s in the Netherlands. Positioned under a bridge, the concrete structure ensures a stable cross-section and promotes continuous laminar flow, largely unaffected by vegetation growth. In the field, Gerben Werkman from SonTek dealer Elscolab is seen collecting discharge data with the SonTek-M9 ADCP, while Wouter Mets, an engineer from Mets Techniek, is also on-site helping with the SL install. Look closely and you might spot a damselfly keeping watch over the data collection from atop an rQPOD...
