https://lnkd.in/eQxQsSYi A major PR disaster from a leading Chinese Automobile manufacturer - Li Motors, whose new USD 85K MPV EV van (called Mega) has some resemblance to a coffin (particularly from the rear). This USD 30B company's market cap witnessed a dramatic evaporation of $10B since its introduction of Mega amidst a web frenzy of negative publicity plus a wave of 10K preorder cancellations. Was it a design flaw, a superstition, a misread of the public sentiment, a malicious attack by competitors, or something else? Other issues include the high pricing and the lack of a range extender-motor to reduce range anxiety for these vehicles used frequently for longer trips. What a contrast between this huge disaster or misstep from Li Motors vs. the resounding success of the Xiaomi SU9 (made by BAIC), which sold out its first-year production of 100k vehicles in just minutes. The EV market can be precarious and whimsical for many car makers!

Pendulum Trains Available(1973) On 10 July 1973, pendulum trains were introduced between Nagoya and Nagano stations. Due to the geographical conditions of the Chuo Main Line, with its steep curves and steep gradients, the route requires engines with high power output. Pendulum-type trains were introduced with a specially constructed bogie that used centrifugal force to tilt the train on curves, allowing it to pass at high speed. The first commercial train to use this system was the limited express "Shinano". The cars at this time (Series 381) were of the natural pendulum type. The disadvantage is that the car body tilts after entering a curve and returns to its original position after exiting the curve, which causes a time delay, making the train susceptible to motion sickness. In Japan, a residential area in Harumi Flag*(Tokyo) which has a hydrogen pipeline to supply heat and electricity, will start move-in next month.(^^)/ *Harumi Flag https://lnkd.in/gm8PSa-R! Harumi Flag is a large-scale apartment complex, where it is the former Tokyo 2020 Olympic Village site. Its residential capacity is about 12000 people. Tokyo's government places the project as a model of an advanced ecological city. This area will settle the largest-scale hydrogen supply station, and it will supply hydrogen to residential areas through a commercialized hydrogen pipeline. The hydrogen pipeline commercial operation will be the first case in Japan. (Kitakyushu City has conducted the same kind of practical test, but it is a social practical test) The hydrogen will be supplied to the FC bus and settled FCs which will produce electricity for the shared spaces in this building, such as the entrance hall, staircase, elevator lighting, and so on. Even the reason why they did that too right? i think something is burning and automatically turn off the switch. He can do it at the South China Sea why India Ocean? It does not make sense to me to fly more hours... whatif something burning at the cockpit and turnoff the switch and caused the toxic air? i think there is a quarrel between pilot and copilot. why copilot contact Malaysia when they flew to Penang???? Since the plane is disappeared i am thinking it will reappeared some day and they shall return home safely - yes. all of them. teleportation caused by the burning materials could be possible like the Philadelphia Experiment EFFECT.

Sharing Asahi Network News story (in Japanese) on Haneda incident. 1) includes video taken by F,M&D; escape routes R/L 1-4(8 total) available; only R1, L1, L4 (3/8) used; other doors closed (prevented ingress of smoke). Chief steward in white uniform told captain (3 in cockpit) which engine on fire: captain gave order to emergency exit plane. Many passengers had to hurry to R1, L1 to escape; finally, captain visually checked nobody left behind; exited last via L4. Some passengers did not listen; tried taking luggage. 揸開汽油車，去揸大陸電車係完全沒有問題。但如果揸開 Tesla，改揸大陸電車，就真係會幾辛苦。 What's the difference between this and BYD SEAL? BYD SEAL can't even compete with TESLA model 3. How can 小米 compete in EV market? I definitely won't recommend both. Only Tesla works in HK. BYD SEAL: 1. 360 camera has too distorted images. It is useless. As a replacement of shoulder check, I cannot read the second lane and beyond. 2. Those buttons on steering wheel are too close to the rim. I can easily accidentally touch anyone of them for no reason. 3. The map is totally useless. I cannot search using English. I cannot search through handwriting of Chinese. 4. Shocks are too soft and overshootung. It is extremely uncomfortable. 5. Brake is another problem. Tesla has a regenerative brake which can pull the car to stop. BYD SEAL cannot be done like what Tesla can do. Therefore, I cannot use one single pedal to control the BYD SEAL. 6. Maneuvering of Tesla model 3 is almost perfect. I was once faced with immediate obstacle in front. I immediately turned to left and then right to avoid such obstacle. Model 3 is just perfect to do it without trouble. 7.
