Introducing two featured products! 1️⃣ Global shutter image sensor IMX900 2️⃣ SWIR image sensor IMX992 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 & 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 IMX900 industrial image sensors use a newly developed unique pixel structure based on Pregius S*1, achieving approx. 3.2M effective pixels in a compact 1/3.1-type. They have evolved from predecessors in many ways, including improved incident light angle dependency and better near-infrared (NIR) sensitivity. https://lnkd.in/eqCFnSBR 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐞 The IMX992 delivers the industry’s narrowest pixel size*2 of 3.45 μm with Cu-Cu connection and the industry's highest*2 effective resolution of 5.32 megapixels. Additionally, it offers a new shooting mode to suppress noise influence in low-light conditions. The SWIR lineup also includes the IMX993 with 3.21 effective megapixels. https://lnkd.in/eNFssUbG #sonysemicon #sony #imagesensor #newproduct #swir #IMX900 #IMX992
Dear SSS, This is absolutely true that Chinese camera suppliers are flooding the market with Sony SWIR sensors without any concerns about end user applications and end user countries. It is likely that sometime one will find a Sony SWIR into a Russian drone. It is easy to prove. Just ask any Chinese camera manufacturer and you will see how easy to receive one or multiple units without providing any end user declaration. As Japan is part of the wassenaar agreement that rules these exportation this should not happen.
Sony Semicon (EU)you are great at teasing people! Release the sensors! When is mass production scheduled?

7moThan you will say these can’t be used for military while China will actively sell to the whole world for military. Sony really needs to work on its policies
