💡 What I Learned About Artificial Intelligence During My Internship 💡   Like many others, before starting my internship at an AI startup, I thought artificial intelligence was all about humanoid robots and futuristic technologies. But once I dove into this field, I quickly realized that AI is so much more than that!   What is Artificial Intelligence?   In reality, AI is a collection of technologies that enable machines to mimic certain human cognitive functions, such as decision-making, pattern recognition, or learning from data. In other words, it allows machines to 'think', either autonomously or with assistance. AI is all around us, even if we don't always see it.   📱 Where is AI hiding in our daily lives?   It's present in our phones as voice assistants, in search engines optimizing our results, and on streaming platforms that recommend movies or music based on our tastes. AI simplifies and enhances so many aspects of our daily lives, whether in healthcare, transportation, or business management.   🔥 My internship experience has opened my eyes to the immense potential of AI.   I had the opportunity to work on innovative projects that leverage AI to solve complex problems. I learned about the importance of data and algorithms behind these systems, and I also realized that this technology goes far beyond the popular image of robots. AI is a silent yet omnipresent revolution that is transforming every sector, from the most traditional to the most cutting-edge.   I am more convinced than ever that artificial intelligence will play a central role in the future of our society, and I’m excited to continue contributing to this evolution.   #AI #Technology #ArtificialIntelligence #Innovation #FutureOfWork #MachineLearning

Introducing SEINE: A Video Diffusion Model for Generative Transition SEINE, presented at ICLR 2024, is a Short-to-Long Video Diffusion Model for Generative Transition and Prediction. It’s part of the video generation system Vchitect and can be used with the Text-to-Video (T2V) framework LaVie. SEINE uses a diffusion model to generate transitions and predictions in videos, enabling the creation of story-level long videos. The project has open-sourced the model and provides a setup guide for users. It also includes usage instructions for Image-to-Video (I2V) results and transition generation.
