#PillarsofGenerosity National Black Philanthropy Month, an annual month-long, global celebration of African-descent giving, was created in August 2011 by Dr. Jackie Bouvier Copeland and the Pan-African Women’s Philanthropy Network (PAWPNet) and is held every August. Five Facts to Know About Black Philanthropy 1. The practice of giving in the Black community has been around for centuries. 2. The term “philanthropy” does not fully embrace just how diverse the nature of giving is, in practice. 3. Black households donate a higher share of their wealth than white households. 4. Giving in the Black community comes in many different forms. 5. Black Philanthropy IS Philanthropy. #church #nonprofit #generis #generisteam #fundraising #giving #success #advancement #christianeducation #generosity #philanthropy

You've heard us say it before, but we'll say it again: We Are Better Together! Happy Giving Tuesday! By making a donation to Black Political Cultivation AZ today, you are supporting grassroots organizing to build up and strengthen the bonds of the Black community as we expand our political consciousness and involvement, so that we can continue to advocate together and take on the White Supremacist institutions that were built on our backs to keep us caged in bondage. Our organization moves in coalition with other locally-rooted Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) organizations and alliances to advocate on the urgent issues that directly impact us, including environmental justice and climate action, and reproductive rights and justice. Community resources in the form of financial support are deeply needed to fuel and fortify the work we have laid out in front of us: 2024 is set to include a diversity of critical challenges that demand our effort. What’s ahead of us is a lot more fight, but also the endless possibility that is born from our passion and collaboration—we invite you to be a part of this now. Step up and meet the moment, starting with your financial backing. If you can afford it, we encourage you to make #donations starting at $15 today. The very best way to support us is to sign up to be a recurring donor starting at $5 a month or more. By far, one of the most impactful philanthropic and fundraising event is GivingTuesday. ❤️ This year, during #GivingTuesday 2023, amplify your generosity by participating in the Global Black Philanthropy Initiative to make an instant global impact on the Black community. 💥Here’s how you can participate: 1) Go to the GBPI website at Global-bpi.org. 2) Use the UN’s SDG framework to identify the impact you want to see in the world, specifically for the Black community. 3) Choose one of the 17 SDGs. 4) Make an Impact! and donate to the chosen category. 5) Your donation (after admin costs are deducted) will be equally distributed among all the nonprofit organizations championing that specific SDG. 🧠 By using the UN’s SDG framework, you can choose the impact you want to have on the Black community and donate to that category. This #GivingTuesday, take the guessing out of it and amplify your generosity by participating in the Global Black Philanthropy Initiative (GBPI) to make an instant global impact on the Black community. Remember, your donation can make a difference in someone’s life. Visit Global-BPI.org to make a positive impact on the world. Donate Once, Impact Many ✨️

Are you a nonprofit leader struggling to reach your annual funding goals each year? If so, let's connect.
What percentage of $11B will your organization secure this year? If you are a registered 501c3 with a program, your answer should be at least $10K in single donor contributions per year. If not...you need the Donor Hierarchy List (DHL) ™ The Donor Hierarchy List (DHL) ™ is our proven resource designed to help nonprofits build their $100K Donor List. It is especially important to the journey of nonprofit leaders and their boards because it emphasizes the importance of leveraging the right relationships at the right time with the right intentions. We just got news of another organization using the DHL to secure $15K last week. It can do the same for you, visit www.thebrandhospital.com to schedule an appointment to see how we can help your organization get on track to tap into that $11B donation pool using the DHL. #s2brandhospital #donorhierarchylist #nonprofit

Philanthropy works to increase opportunity, especially to those historically excluded. The lawsuit against Fearless Fund is an attack on the rights of philanthropic organizations to give in line with their values, as protected under the First Amendment. Attempts to restrict the values-driven work of philanthropy impact so much great work happening around the country and in our region. This would have great consequences for initiatives like the grant we provided to revitalize small-town grocery access for rural residents in North Dakota.
