As someone who is by nature a perfectionist this is one of the most valuable things I've learnt over the years. I used to spend hours and hours of what should have been my down time, proofing, checking, reviewing and tweaking. There is nothing wrong with having the highest standards but deciding when a pitch or a piece of work is "good enough" and therefore "done" has been key to me being more effective. And most importantly having more time with friends, family and sporting fixtures. Sport Social Podcast Network Voiceworks.ai Voiceworks Sport

I totally agree Sophie, only yesterday I was facilitating a Training Session and spent, in hindsight, an inordinate amount of time preparing, refining and practicing the on line delivery of my content. Having received nothing but positive feedback from the attendees I reviewed my personal effort vs return and could have reduced effort and achieved the same result. #nevertoooldtolearn
You are in good company Sophie Hind ↓ "You don't have to get to 100% certainty on decisions, get to 51%, and when you get there, make the decision and be at peace with the fact that you made the decision based on the information you had". - Barack Obama
Love this Sophie and definitely struck a cord with me 👏🏽
