We conducted an Oil Content & moisture content Analysis of both water & Deconstruct Oil-free moisturizer using Oil & Moisture Meter The results indicate that our moisturizer’s oil content is as low as that of water with ours coming out to be around 0.1% only. The moisture content was found to be nearly 2x as that of water. This analysis highlights our Oil-Free Moisturizer's ability to provide enhanced hydration without imparting any oily feeling. The reason of these results is that the moisturizer is completely non-comedogenic meaning it doesn’t have any oils in it & is infused with Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMFs), replicating the skin's natural hydration mechanisms, ensuring optimal moisture retention. Hence it provides optimal hydration but isn’t oily & won’t clog pores.The formulation is also fragrance-free & absorbs quickly into the skin. Begin it with Deconstruct. Cosmetic creams are often emulsions, which means they mix ingredients that normally wouldn't, like oil and water. To keep them together, formulators rely on ingredients called emulsifiers and thickeners.   Even with these ingredients, separation can happen during testing for a few reasons: 1️⃣ Natural Tendency to Separate: Oil and water just don't like to mix. Even with emulsifiers, over time, gravity can pull them apart with the oil likely ending up on top. This is especially true if the cream isn't thick enough. 2️⃣ Heat Exposure: Creams are designed to be stable at room temperature. But during testing, they are exposed to heat or cold to see how they react. Heat can melt thickeners and emulsifiers, making them less effective and allowing separation.   WHAT IS THE SOLUTION? There are ways to slow down this separation process by using thicker bases or stronger emulsifiers to create a more stable product.
