well, I would disagree that AI keeps the text consistency and terminology, just try with some chatbot, after the second or third page it completely looses the text line and consistency especially in terms of terminology, valves unobtrusively change into flaps or gates, panels or board in table desks in target language, so in the end the final translation is on some device completely different from the intention of the author, and yes, it is not difficult to correct it, but takes time and effort and compared to quality human translation within some good CAT Tool, Ai language model looses its sense completely considering all the time, invested capital and work of all who participated - to produce a text, that must be corrected anyway by a human, so in the end it would be wiser to improve existing Cat Tools and not waste money for, maybe sometime impressive for unfamiliar ones with consistent translation, language robots just to calm investors down, with some tangible result...tech companies seem to have very good PR to attract capital and yes, they must present something-does it really worth so much money, effort, time? Into translation industry AI has just brought more and time intensive work to correct its not so shiny outputs

A human professional translator is still superior at handling ambiguity of complex texts.

Contextual oddities—where the translation is correct but somehow doesn’t quite fit the scenario—can be a strong indicator of AI involvement.
