It's a week into Inktober, the online drawing challenge. And I'm a week behind. I will try to get caught by the end of this week. These will be sketchy as I am "inking" them at work on break. 1. Backpack. Have you noticed how kids are wearing backpacks lower and lower every year? #briandiskin #briandiskincartoons #aduckillustrations #inktober2024 #backpack #backpackcartooons #historycartoons

If you are looking for a simple tool to settle your thoughts consider the Flik'et at fliketshop.com. It is a simple fidget toy my son, Nick, invented. You simply place your index finger in the hole and move the flik'et with your middle finger. The first generation comes smooth and in various colors. Your logo can also be placed on it. The second generation is in process that adds sensory zones for tactile release. #mentalhealthmatters #copingstrategies #healingjourney

I've never attended a Roller Derby fight (match? bout? game?) But back in 2010, when I was still in design school, I was asked to create a poster for one of my classmate's roller derby events. I spent WEEKS on this. One, because I was still learning how to use Photoshop "You can't do what you don't know how to do until you learn how to do it," - Caligula. Two, because I wanted the perfect balance of black and white...stuff? Design elements? There are def things I would do differently and update, now that I have 14 years of Photoshop experience. Regardless, I dig it and I'm wheel-y proud of myself! #selfaggrandizing #caligula #rollerderby #posterdesign

Just sharing about my journey so far in selling my #LEGO #Technic #MOCs on Rebrickable. Started doing LEGO MOCs as an activity during Covid lockdown to make my mind working while having fun. (Did not have the oppprtunity and means when I was a kid) Since 2021, there were 83 sales. My MOCs cost between USD1 to USD3. (Well, my MOCs are not that complicated to charge higher.) BTW, there are some fees deducted by Rebrickable and PayPal. For USD1, I will get about USD0.64 only. And Rebrickable also charges a minimum yearly fee. Out of the 58 moc, 21 are for for sale while others are free. Builiding instructions were created using BrickLink Studio software. So far, only 1 buyer asked for refund ;-) https://lnkd.in/gaxVdFye

A couple months ago, you watched our @BellaMoulding #PrismaFrames #unboxing video. We mentioned their visualizer, and here's a quick (very, very quick since we have a 30s max video time on our social media program) overview over it. From their website, you can upload an image, play with the size and shape of the frame itself, select your different colors and patterns, and in a few weeks, you'll have your truly #bespoke frame! With 40+ colors, 10+ shapes, 20+ patterns, and a whole bunch of other options as well, your choices are nearly limitless. But don't let that overwhelm you. We'd be more than happy to do the work for you. We've got all the color chips and a number of corner samples so you can get an idea of what it will look like in real life. Let's build something together! #custompictureframing #savannahpictureframing #pictureframinginsavannah

THE PAINTBALL WAR, MUSEUM: Art inspired by paintball wars. While not a widely known institution, would likely showcase the history and evolution of paintball as a sport and recreational activity. Here’s a general idea of what such a museum might look like: Exhibits and Displays: - History of Paintball: Information panels detailing the origins of paintball, starting from its invention in the 1980s, including the first games and the development of the sport. - Paintball Gear: Displays of various paintball equipment over the years, including markers (guns), masks, and protective gear. This could include vintage gear alongside modern advancements. - Game Scenarios: Diagrams or dioramas illustrating different paintball game types, such as capture the flag, elimination, and scenario games. Interactive Experiences: - Simulated Games: Spaces where visitors can participate in virtual paintball games or try out equipment in a controlled environment. - Target Practice: Areas set up for visitors to practice shooting with paintball markers in a safe, supervised setting. Art and Culture: - Paintball in Media: Exhibits showcasing paintball’s presence in movies, video games, and television, highlighting its cultural impact. - Photography and Art: A gallery of photographs and artwork inspired by paintball, capturing the action and excitement of the sport. Events and Tournaments: - Historical Tournaments: Information about significant paintball tournaments and competitions, including notable teams and players. - Workshops and Demonstrations: Scheduled events where experienced players or manufacturers demonstrate techniques or new gear. Merchandise and Memorabilia: - Souvenir Shop: A store offering paintball-related merchandise, including apparel, gear, and collectibles. Overall, the Paintball War Museum would be an engaging place for both enthusiasts and newcomers, blending education with interactive fun. #PaintballMuseum #PaintballHistory #PaintballFun #PaintballSport #PaintballGear #PaintballLife #PaintballCommunity #PaintballArt #PaintballEvents #PaintballExperience #GetInTheGame #PaintballCulture #PaintballLove #PaintballAdventures #PaintballLegends

I frikkin love this video! The coolest thing about the LEGO brick is that you can play with it on and on and on and on and on. The 60-year-old brick still fits with the newest set. Have you ever thrown away your LEGO sets? I bet the answer is no. You have either sold it on a flea market, passed it on to someone else or kept it yourself. Which is something you cannot say about too many products. Let's all design more products that can go on and on and on and on #LEGOPlay #Sustainability #MadeToBePlayed #BehindTheBricks
