Our industry symposium is about to begin! High-sensitivity troponin l from the emergency department (ED) to the Lab. Saturday 2 November, 2:00-3:30 p.m. on Level 2, Rooms C2.2/2.3. This symposium will feature leading experts Professors Paul Collinson, Martin Than, Louise Cullen, Zhong Lu and Dr Camille Chenevier-Gobeaux. As highlighted at The 2024 Liver Meeting, this breakthrough technology is proving to be a game-changer in understanding and managing primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC). A special thank you to Sarah Finnegan, PhD, who presented new research findings from a partnership with the University of Toronto led by Dr Kartik Jhaveri and Dr Gideon Hirschfield showing that MRCP+ could detect changes in biliary tree anatomy over 10 years. PSC is a complex and challenging disease, but advancements like MRCP+ demonstrate how precision diagnostics can enable better clinical decisions, earlier interventions, and improved outcomes for patients worldwide.
