Top 3 interview questions to be ready for!🔥#Germany 🚀What is the product that you are currently working on? You need to focus on two words: product and currently. First of all, please be careful here, you do not need to explain what your project is but say about the product of the company you work on. A recruiter checks if you are involved in the whole process and considered as a team member, not only specializing in your tasks. 💡How would your best friend describe you? Recruiters want you to think and self-reflect. They are checking how you relate to the outside world and your role in society. Be prepared with a concrete example. 💼Why we should not hire you? It is a tricky one. HR checks your confidence. They expect you to provide your weaknesses. However, I suggest emphasizing that there is no reason not to hire you and demonstrating your strengths instead. Let me know if you need any help with getting a job in Germany! #relocation #citizenship #immigration #deutschland #ITProfessionals #GermanyImmigration #EUBlueCard #CareerOpportunities #TechJobs #Opportunity #WorkInTech #FAJIG #GermanyOpportunities #NoGermanRequired #visa

𝟐 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 - 𝟐𝟒 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬 – 𝟕𝟑𝟎 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 – 𝟏𝟕𝟓𝟐𝟎 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 – 𝟏𝟎𝟓𝟏𝟐𝟎𝟎 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 ⏱ Well, it has been 2 years since I had my very first day in recruitment. I remember getting off the plane from a UNI holiday (Malia) straight to my interview and started just a month later. As my first 'real' job It took a good month to adjust to the fact I would be working for the next 50 years... Turns out it is not such a bad thing after all 😅 I remember mixed reviews from people when I told them I was going into recruitment. It was a mix of you will last 4 months and more positive reactions like it is a job made for you. Well, I am still here (lasted more than 4 months) and loving it. 𝐖𝐡𝐲? It has given me the platform to connect with incredible people from across the world working on beyond exciting projects. It has made me more resilient which I know is a word we throw about a lot but a year ago a dropout would make me spiral now I just focus on what's next. Also met some great friends along the way, always a bonus. 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞? If you are reading this on your first day in recruitment the best piece of advice I can give you is if you don't feel like you're drowning your first 6 months in you are not giving it your all... Also, it wouldn't be half of the fun now would it😏 Here is to the next two.... (and the next 30) #recruitment #recruiter #techrecruiter #tech #community

#saturdaymorning A follow-up to my previous post: why🇨🇦🍁 experience is seen as validation. Historically and even today, I find that employers have more TRUST in a candidate with Canadian 🇨🇦experience in their resume. 90% of employers in this country are small businesses that do not have all the necessary resources to validate or authenticate a candidate💯. The simple strategy is to look for someone with Canadian 🇨🇦experience, even if they are from the smallest town in the country. To put it simply, acquire experience from anywhere in this country. #jobs #networking

As a tech recruiter in Israel, I've had countless phone calls with amazing candidates. Here are some of the questions I ask candidates on almost every call📞 👉"Can you walk me through your resume?" Strategy: Connect the dots! Emphasize experiences that align with the job requirements. Showcase your growth and achievements. 👉"What was the scope of your last role?" Strategy: Highlight key responsibilities, technologies you work with and achievements. Relate them to the skills required for the new role. If your last role isn't relevant to the role you applied for, shift your answer to a more relevant role listed in your CV. 👉"Why are you interested in this role?" Strategy: Mention specific aspects of the role responsibilities, technologies, or company values that resonate with you. 👉"What types of roles are you applying for?" Strategy: I don't always ask this question, but if I do, I am trying to gain a better understanding of your passion/motivation. Discuss the types of positions you're actively pursuing. 👉"What is most important to you in your next role?" Strategy: Share your values and career priorities – let me know what matters most to you in your search. 👉"What are your salary expectations?" Strategy: Be prepared & research industry standards ahead of time. Don't ask what the budget is, don't offer a range. Express your flexibility. 👉"Why are you looking for a new job opportunity?" Strategy: Don't just say salary, don't badmouth your current/previous employer. Try to talk about professional growth or other authentic reasons. 💡Pro Tip: Remember, the phone screen is typically a short 15 minute call. You will have more information later in the hiring process to elaborate, so try to keep your answers on topic. Also, ask questions about the role, it is a two way street and shows your genuine interest in the role. What do you think? Have you been asked any other questions on a first phone call with a recruiter? #CareerAdvice #JobSearch #RecruitmentTips #InterviewTips #Tech
