You don't need a natural gas "hybrid" heating system in very cold regions. This zero-emissions net-zero-energy-ready home in Cranbrook, B.C. remained comfortable through the recent arctic outflow event. A small backup electric baseboard heater kicked in to supplement heating on the very coldest of nights. “During a six-day period with temperatures dropping to −35°C [-31°F], there was only a very short timeframe that required backup heat... It was such a short blip that it only cost an extra $4." Case study: Community Energy Association with K-Country Homes.

These opinions contradict my opinion according to any logic and have no connection to reality. All three applications proposed by this group not only contribute to solving environmental problems but, on the contrary, will certainly lead to a very serious, irreversible destruction of the environment. I, on the other hand, believe that if we choose a new fuel carefully and apply the golden rule that connects the place of collection of renewable energy with the place of production and consumption, we can reach the level of energy and mobility independence in a 100% peaceful and environmentally friendly way.
