A 227ft tall headframe, an 11-day non-stop concrete pour and one great team effort. Check out this impressive timelapse from Hermosa last month as they reached a key milestone in the development of the Taylor deposit. #construction #timelapse #mining South32 Hermosa

This is an Arizona what were the temperatures during Hermosa Project 1860 E River Road, Suite 200 Tucson, Arizona 85718 United States

Brings back memories of Kidd Creek No. 2 headframe in Timmins, Ontario, slipformed in the same fashion in the early 1970s.

We poured 700 ton concrete for the thickener foundation in our SD copper flotation project in one day. We were very happy for that. This project is amazing and I shame that we were so happy that day.

I’ve been in mining for a minute, and on some of the largest projects in the world, but this is probably one of the coolest things I’ve even seen!
