Announcing a Transformative Partnership for Nature-Based Solutions! We’re thrilled to share that the Social Carbon Foundation has joined forces with NATURAL STATE to develop an innovative approach to transform the landscape of nature-based solutions: Nature Stewardship Credits! 🎉 This collaboration pioneers a modular credit system that weaves biodiversity and social impact into a unified framework, setting a new standard for environmental accountability and driving measurable benefits for nature and local communities alike.   How does it work? Modular Use: These credits can enhance co-benefits of carbon projects or stand alone as a metric for social and biodiversity outcomes. Global Impact: Projects worldwide will benefit, supporting sustainable livelihoods and biodiversity uplift for communities and ecosystems.   By tracking metrics like biodiversity gains, the level of benefit sharing and the strength of local governance, Nature Stewardship Credits make conservation and restoration beneficial for both people and planet. We’re redefining nature-based solutions to ensure that everyone impacted can thrive.   We will share a whitepaper soon that provides more detail on how Nature Stewardship Credits will work. The full methodology will be released in Q1 2025 alongside pilot projects across North America, Latin America, and Africa.
