Myths about buying or operating a vending route. Based on the many many questions I get: - They are not passive. Such crap. BUT you can make an extra $300-$400 a month (net) with 1 machine and 2 hours a week - Great routes RARELY come available for sale. Most are made up of a few really good locations and 90% not good locations - Anyone can start, most won't make it more than 12 months and will sell. - It's not as easy as just buying some old machine and slapping a credit card reader on it. Many old machines don't accept CC readers and need a new board installed. Don't fall for this trap - Having less than 5 machines is harder than having 10 machines. Especially if you have a few locations that are crushing it. Nearly the same amount of time each week, a lot more revenue. - You don't need to buy from the huge suppliers until you're selling more than 1,500 snacks a week. That's a lot. Sams club is by far the cheapest. - You can't hold backstock. This is a pain in the ass but you get used to it. Many items expire faster than you realize. Running really lean on inventory is a skill learned. - Not all machines are treated equal. There are WAY better quality out there. - Combo machines are not always the right option. (serves food and drinks). If you have a high volume location you want to separate them out, you'll 1.5x revenue. Just some answers to questions I get on the regular. Let me humble brag for a second. I now go to each location I pitch to with the determination of, "I'm getting a conversation going. A no is fine, but only after they know what they're saying no to. I'm not just any old vending machine, or any old service." So today, I went to a location, and the first words I hear are, "we are happy with our guy, they fill us up." And I was like, "totally understand, and maybe they're the best out there. But would you be against exploring the different choices we have, seeing if one might be a better fit for your employees?" Boom. She went from "just give me your card" to "and these guys don't put what we ask of them, they don't give refunds, they sell the small bag of chips for 1.75, they don't have food" etc etc. By the way, I don't just advertise my vending. I advertise micromarkets, pantries, smart coolers, office coffee services, etc. All of which are things that the team at Naturals2Go Healthy Vending have helped me with.

Tell me something can't be done, and I'll prove to you it can. At the end of last year, our vending broker fired us and I was devastated (This is not a slap at them. They are an incredible company with the best people on their team and only have so much time to focus on pioneering a brand). Since we are the first and best BFY alternative to the conventional brand, and more expensive, operators have struggled with bringing us in when they have limited space available and the conventional brand sells. I get it but I also know what trending data is showing us. Last week I received a DM on LinkedIn from a vending operator asking me where he could buy our product. I responded with distribution options and asked him if he would be willing to chat further about his business and how we might fill a gap for them. He agreed and we met on Monday afternoon. A few weeks ago, one of his micro-market customers called him looking for BFY alternatives. The customer is offering free snacks to their employees but didn't want junk food to be offered, so he started researching brands that met his customer's needs. He heard about us through LinkedIn!! Then, he researched our company, and we had a more formal conversation where I was able to provide him the full brand presentation. We are still working through logistics but he's willing to put us in all (60) of his micro-markets and potentially add our new single serve Crinkle Cut chips in all (500) of his vending machines! This is what happens when you're stubborn like me and KNOW our product is going to succeed in all channels of business!!
