Exciting Evoke Construction Update in Kitchener, Ontario! Big things are happening at Evoke, our newest 310-suite development, and we’re making serious progress! Building A: We’re landing 4th-floor wall panels and wrapping up backframing on lower floors. Rough-ins are happening on the 1st floor, while plumbing and electrical in the parkade are almost complete. Parkade walls are getting their final coat of paint! Building B: Framing layout for the 1st floor is DONE, and we’re closing in on plumbing and electrical completion in the parkade. Wall painting is almost wrapped here too. Building C: Suspended slab pour #5 is DONE, and we’re ready for pour #6. Building D: All slab-on-grade pours are officially complete! Around the site: Street lamps are going up, weeping tile is finished, and backfill and grading are full speed ahead! Only 12 weeks ago I was on site watching Richard White’s Scotframe #Valutherm timber frame being installed. Thomas Edwards has the finishing of our kits down to a fine art nowadays. Despite the weather it brightened up my week to round it off in Oxfordshire admiring progress on site.
