Did you know nearly half of women we surveyed have been discriminated based on gender by patients? Or that nurses are the most likely to be sexually harassed by colleagues? These stats are an important reminder that it’s never been more crucial to support women in healthcare. If you know me well, you know that I’m big on women supporting other women and standing up to injustices. Thankfully I work with some amazing women who feel the same way and this project wouldn’t be possible without them. With the assistance of Krista McCourt and Christine Burke Evans, we launched this survey, had a beautiful guide created, and have plans to spread the data everywhere. Whether you recruit for healthcare roles, work in healthcare, or just interested in learning more about the experiences of female healthcare professionals, check out the data today. #WomeninMedicine #DEI

Dr. CARA | International Psychologist | Connection Expert | Leadership Coach | Inspiring Leaders to Embrace Connection to Themselves and Others
Tricia Gray, MBA, MHA, FACHE, CPHQ 🎓Karen Ochoa, MA, CDP, Kennyle Johnson, MPH I want to express my appreciation for the opportunity to facilitate a discussion on sisterhood and connectivity among a dynamic group of women in Healthcare. Being entrusted with such an important and meaningful topic is an honor. Sisterhood and connection are essential elements in empowering women in the healthcare industry. By fostering a sense of unity and support, we can create a robust network of women who uplift and inspire one another. This discussion created a platform to explore our challenges, celebrate our achievements, and share our experiences in Healthcare. Together, we can create a community that supports each other and advocates for change and progress in Healthcare. According to statistics, "In 2022, about 8 in 10 workers in all healthcare occupations were women". This means Women = Healthcare! It is crucial to cultivate a strong network of women who can lean on each other for guidance, encouragement, and inspiration! Happy National Women’s Month!
