New season is out! Talking with experts and sharing the knowledge is one of the things I enjoy the most about having a podcast. This week, Rich Diviney returns to talk about assessing attributes. I did this assessment as well and we discussed the results. Spoiler: my top include discipline, creativity, open-mindedness. I am low in patience and extraversion. You will also find out why scoring low on narcissism may not be a good thing. Listen to this episode and let me know what you've learned.
We are back with new episodes! This week learn more about how to optimize team performance and use your attributes to succeed with retired Navy SEAL Commander Rich Diviney. Listen to the full episode here https://lnkd.in/eqcygESt

AI isn’t about waiting for tomorrow. From predicting geopolitical risks to optimizing budgeting processes, AI-powered tools are transforming operations across the military. These tools can: - Enhance situational awareness - Save time by streamlining workflows - Enable faster, smarter decisions Leaders must overcome cultural barriers to fully embrace AI. The key question: Did I use #AI to improve outcomes today? If not, what held me back? Let’s focus on making AI work for today’s challenges, not tomorrow’s imagination. 💡 #Defense #Leadership #Innovation #MilitaryTech
“Senior military decision-makers need the chance to appreciate AI’s ability to improve everyday outcomes today, not in some science-fiction future.” Too often, AI is either hailed as a solution to everything or the road to dystopia. For military leaders, we need a better discussion grounded in the ways AI is already transforming decision-making today, not tomorrow. Admiral Charles Richard, former Commander of USSTRATCOM, published a thought-provoking piece with our founder and CEO Dr. Anshuman Roy in the U.S. Naval Institute's “Proceedings” journal about the tools available today to empower decision makers with essential decision advantage. Special Operations is a brotherhood. Green Berets and Navy SEALs compete to be the best, but when it's time to face the enemy, no greater bond exists between forces. No one is more driven, committed, or focused on winning than America's Green Berets and Navy SEALs—two organizations critical to our national security and a brotherhood forged through camaraderie and competition. The first annual Stars and Stripes Classic is in the books, and although the Navy SEALs took home the trophy, America won! To break down some of the game, Fran Racioppi is joined by the command team from 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne), Major General Gil Ferguson and CSM Dave Waldo, along with Navy SEAL, author, and entrepreneur Jocko Willink. They discuss the hard-hitting action on the field, the brotherhood between Green Berets and SEALs, why trust and candor are essential in leadership, and what America needs in the next generation of Special Operators. Watch the full conversation: https://lnkd.in/eFY8TitD The opinions presented on The Jedburgh Podcast Podcast and the Jedburgh Media Channel are the opinions of the guests and the host. Executive Transformational Leader Experienced in Multi-Million-Dollar P&L Management, Leading Private Equity Business Strategies, & Directing Global Cross-Functional Teams, Focused on Creating Value
Bookworm Wednesday! "Extreme Ownership" By: Jocko Williams & Leif Babin I read this one years ago and recently picked it up again. If you are a Jocko fan, and I am, then you know, its not for the faint of heart. As Navy SEALS he and his co-author endured a lot in the field and they apply these lesson to life. There are a lot of military and battlefield scenes in the book, so be warned. There are specific themes, Cover and Move, Decentralized Command and Leading Up the Chain, always with one common thread, extreme ownership. No matter the circumstance, the situation or the outcome, it is the leaders' accountability and the power in owning that accountability in every single thing in your life, work and family. As mentioned, I'm a Jocko fan, and I've now read it twice, but you decide! #bookaweek #alwaysbeastudent #bookwormwednesday #keepreadingkeeplearning #keepreadingkeepgrowing
