📢 Important Update: Orlando Host & Toast Event Cancelled Due to Tropical Storm Milton After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Hospitable Host & Toast event in Orlando due to the projected path of Tropical Storm Milton. While the storm’s path may shift or weaken, we want to prioritize everyone’s safety and avoid putting anyone in a position to travel under potentially dangerous conditions. We were excited to connect with you in person and create a fantastic experience together. However, we hope this early decision gives you ample time to adjust any travel plans. For those with tickets, here are your options: 1. Transfer your ticket: If you’d like to join us at one of our other upcoming Host & Toast events in Atlanta, Austin, or LA, we’re happy to transfer your ticket. Please email miles.hobson@hospitable.com to make arrangements. 2. Receive a refund: If you’d prefer a refund, no action is required. We will process refunds later this week. Our thoughts are with everyone in the path of the storm. Stay safe, and we hope to see you soon at a future event.

As we gather with loved ones and celebrate the season, safety should always remain a top priority. GPCID wants to share some reminders to help keep you and your family safe during the holidays: • Protect Your Home: Keep doors and windows locked, use timers for lights and avoid leaving packages visible. • Stay Vigilant When Shopping: Be aware of your surroundings, secure your valuables and park in well-lit areas. • Online Safety: Shop only on secure websites and monitor your accounts for any unusual activity. • Travel Wisely: If traveling, don’t broadcast plans on social media and ask a trusted neighbor to keep an eye on your home. • Celebrate Responsibly: Whether hosting or attending gatherings, ensure everyone makes safe choices, including arranging transportation if needed. GPCID thanks Rick Strawn, Certified Protection Professional for sharing these holiday tips.
