Partnering CET learners, Industry, Alumni - Co-engineering Innovative Solutions for a Sustainable future

SP is the first IHL to collaborate with RSAF to develop an integrated curriculum, allowing students enrolled in the Diploma in Aerospace Electronics (DASE) course to simultaneously pursue their diploma while embarking on a career in the RSAF as an Air Force Engineer – Maintenance (Avionics).   This initiative allows students to commence on their RSAF career during the third year of their studies by offering them aerospace modules relevant to their diploma at the Air Force Training Command while they concurrently undergo on-the-job training as an Air Force Engineer (Maintenance). The students will be able to apply the fresh knowledge and skills from their diploma during their training, while getting valuable first-hand experiences to understand the practical applications of their skills. With the Covid-19 pandemic receding and air travel for both leisure and business stealthily resuming to pre-pandemic levels and beyond, aviation is poised to expand in a big way and its future looks bright. This collaboration with RSAF is hence timely to align with the future trajectory of the aviation sector. #SPEEE looks forward to partnering more industry partners to prepare its students to be work-ready for the evolving industry.
