We asked her a few questions… What do you like most about working at RMT? Everyone says it, but the people. A great bunch. Favourite random fact? Sea Otters hold hands while they sleep. What is your proudest moment at RMT? Not coming from an IT background, it was a bit of a learning curve and still is. Emily Hedger also works in our Armidale office, and shared her insights below… How has RMT changed since you started? The company is constantly growing and getting better every day. What is your proudest moment at RMT? Coming from a non-IT background, I would say my proudest moment was when I was able to help someone with their IT problem before it even got to the techs! One of the highlights of dining in the cafeteria at Johnston Memorial Hospital is the opportunity to interact with Jenny Johnson. She has been part of the Ballad Health team for nine years. Jenny ensures the dietary needs of patients, and their families are met. Jenny offered some reflections from her career. Q: What do you love most about working at Ballad Health? A: I love knowing that what I do makes a difference in people’s lives. Q: What accomplishment in your healthcare career holds the most significance to you? A: Having a patient or a patient's family member acknowledge that I am doing a good job makes it all worth it. Q: What advice do you have for others who are interested in a career in the healthcare industry? A: I would encourage others to know that working in healthcare requires a big heart. Q: Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing in your free time? A: In my free time, I enjoy gardening, fishing, and spending time with my granddaughters.
