Space Development Agency’s Post

Good news for #SmallBiz! AFWERX pre-released its latest Small Business Innovation Research (#SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (#STTR) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) Topics (24.3C). SDA’s goal is to advance affordable, resilient, and interoperable technologies within the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (#PWSA) to support joint warfighting operations and enable all-domain command and control on a global scale. Toward that end, small companies are asked to provide novel and innovative technology that enables leap-ahead improvements for future tranches of currently planned PWSA capability layers or enable new capabilities to address other emerging or evolving warfighter needs. In addition, SDA is releasing a special topic, STTR Phase I - SF24C-T003 - Strengthening Space: Uniting Research and Innovation for PWSA (Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture), which will allow companies to apply for a larger Phase I STTR of $305K followed by a larger Phase II effort of $3M. SDA plans to select five companies for Phase I followed by a down-select of three companies for Phase II.
