(Un)Real // 01 This is an attempt to create something in between the real and unreal. An uncertain object. The textures, camera angles, animation, scale, and generally the overall look are all came out of a generated noise and placed in an acceptable weirdness. One of the exercises that really helped me to understand better not only the work involved in synchronizing and creating sounds, but also the added value and character that comes with this creative endeavor, was the creation and manipulation of home-recorded sounds to try and imitate the great work of the people at Pixar who created the sound design for WALL-E. For the development of this small project, sounds were recorded and then distorted and transformed in Ableton. The goal of the sound design was to take into notice the small elements, from which Wall-E was made, and try to find some kind of cohesiveness with the animation. #SoundDesign #SoundEffects #AbletonLive
