While you are reading this, a battered and bruised Odysseus lies on the surface of the moon, not quite dead yet. The Odysseus Moon Lander, a project by Intuitive Machines and supported by NASA, encountered a hiccup upon landing near the Moon’s south pole, tipping onto its side due to one of its feet catching on an obstacle, possibly a rock, crevasse, or slope. Despite this setback, the lander remains stable and capable of sending back data. On December 11, 1998, NASA launched the Mars Climate Orbiter to study the climate of Mars. The Mars Climate Orbiter cost $125 million to build. On September 23, 1999, the spacecraft entered orbit with Mars, and then suddenly, NASA lost contact with it. It was due to a simple error: engineers failed to convert from English units to metric. 🚀 To infinity and beyond? It sounds like a challenge for us. 🧑🚀 We probably don't need to explain the demands NASA places on space exploration developments. The Mars rover Curiosity is a project in which only components capable of meeting the highest requirements in terms of and resistance to external factors were selected. 🔩 One of these is our Rawlplug DIN 7984 screws, which have to endure not only the atmosphere of Mars, but also temperature fluctuations of -127 to +40 degrees Celsius. 🛰 There's no denying that these are the Rawlplug products that have come the furthest, and today's number of the month in the #Rawlnumbers series only confirms this. #Rawlplug #Curiosity #NASA #ReferenceObject

It takes Earth 365.2422 days to orbit the sun, according to NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory That's 365 days, 5 hours, 48 minutes, and 56 seconds so, not quite the 365 days we've come to know and observe.
