One of the last things you want as an Event Planner, on the day of your event, is for your staff to be reliant on you to accomplish goals. One way to ensure this isn't the case is to create an EO (Event Order) and schedule a meeting 1-2 days prior to the event to discuss it! The EO should outline what tasks need to be completed and provide a deadline for completion. This will give your staff a guide to work from and will guarantee that tasks are prioritized correctly & will be completed within the timeframe that you have set. The meeting gives you an opportunity to explain the EO & your staff an opportunity to ask questions. This tip has worked for us.
