Torque Metals Ltd (ASX:TOR) continues to strengthen the critical minerals potential of the New Dawn #Lithium Project in Western Australia with all 17 holes from a reverse circulation (RC) drilling campaign intersecting vertically stacked pegmatites. Thick, continuous pegmatite lodes were intersected in the completed campaign of about 5,000 metres which aimed to test and extend the company’s maiden exploration target that was announced last week for New Dawn, which is 600 metres west of the active Bald Hill Lithium Tantalum mine of MinRes. Green Technology Metals Ltd (ASX:GT1, OTC:GTMLF) has hit multiple high-grade #lithium intervals of more than 20 metres thick and with grades up to 2.92% at the North Aubry deposit of the Seymour Lithium Project in Ontario, Canada. Strong lithium results from this latest infill drilling program will be used to generate a mineral resource estimate (MRE) upgrade for the project, enabling an upgrade in the confidence category and size of the resource to support an upcoming definitive feasibility study (DFS). The best result from drilling at North Aubury generated 24.2 metres at 2.69% lithium oxide from 235.8 metres and included a higher-grade portion of 22.2 metres at 2.92% from 235.8 metres depth. Torque Metals has fielded promising assay results from its first reverse circulation (RC) drilling campaign at the New Dawn Lithium Project. There are encouraging signs of high-grade lithium deposits at the project, which also has the advantage of being just 600 metres west of the active Bald Hill lithium-tantalum mine. The drilling campaign, which included 19 RC and two diamond holes, has intersected significant spodumene-bearing pegmatites, with a peak lithium oxide (Li2O) grade of 3.99%. A highlight from the drill results was hole 23NDRC016, which intersected 35 cumulative metres of lithium mineralised pegmatites. Kali Metals Ltd (ASX:KM1) has fielded positive results from the first round of reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Spargoville Project in Western Australia, hitting up to 4 metres at 1.96% #lithium oxide (Li2O) within a larger intersection of 10 metres at 0.85% from just 7 metres. The drilling program also returned another notable result of 9 metres at 1.11% Li2O with a high-grade component of 5 metres at 1.73% from 10 metres. This program was designed as an initial reconnaissance effort to test multiple outcropping pegmatites and improve Kali’s overall understanding of the geological controls on the tenure. It confirmed that #spodumene (hard rock lithium) mineralisation is present in several shallow dipping pegmatite dykes, with numerous lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) hits from the Flynn-Giles prospect. LIBERTY STAR URANIUM & METAL (OTC:LBSR), dba Liberty Star Minerals, is gearing up for diamond core drilling at its gold and copper prospects in southeast Arizona. The company has partnered with NISS Drilling Services for the gold exploration program around Red Rock Canyon. Drilling will also extend to HMP Target 1 near the Red Rock Canyon prospect, the company said in a statement. The plan involves drilling about 250 feet per hole at Red Rock Canyon, focusing on historic drill sites previously explored for gold. Additionally, deeper drilling is scheduled for a promising area within the adjacent Hay Mountain Target 1 region. Hay Mountain contains porphyry copper, gold, molybdenum, and other commercially valuable minerals. Liberty Star believes that both project areas may contain valuable metals, including rare earth minerals associated with copper-gold-molybdenum bodies. Europe's Lithium Hub Great to see the excellent early results reported from Savannah’s drilling programme at the Barroso Lithium Project in north east Portugal with long, well graded, spodumene #lithium intersections. These will ·      help add the current exploration target (11-19Mt)  to the current mineral resource (28Mt); ·      will upgrade the mineral resource to a reserve; and ·      and will provide important geo-technical and metallurgical data. Apart from this the results underscore the potential for the Project to have a long-life that will bring enduring social and economic benefits to the local municipality which is being hollowed out by a persistent de-population spiral and the resulting lack of opportunity. The long-life nature of the Project will also be an important feature for potential refinery off takers and partners.
