Happy Monday from the entire team at SpeakrBrand! We're winding down from a few weeks of travels - from a leadership team retreat in Miami, supporting a client event in Chicago, and attending the Purpose Summit in Charlotte, the last few weeks have been filled with growth, impact, and connection for all of us here at SpeakrBrand. Before we snuck off on our travels, the SpeakrBrand team went Live on LinkedIn! If you missed the live event, SpeakrBrand founder Conner Krizancic and Director of Marketing Nicole Sifers took to LinkedIn Live to dive into how personal brands can optimize their LinkedIn profiles. While we'll attach the recording to this newsletter for your convenience, we believe that the wealth of valuable content discussed warrants a detailed outline in this newsletter! Ready to dive in? A couple of good insights here. Business leaders are busy (seems obvious, I know). That means when you are trying to reach them with your message and your offerings, you have to make every interaction count. We take this into consideration when we construct our events through the year, as well as when we help clients construct effective campaigns for reaching our business leader audience. Our events generally have one of two purposes. They either recognize companies for their efforts in some capacity, or they inform the audience of important information that will affect the way they do business. When we set up digital campaigns, we first look at the website of the client and ask the question "after we get these business leaders to your site, what then?" In print, we talk messaging. As our readers flip to your advertisement, what is the brand message you want them to see? You can't share everything about your business in the 10 seconds you may have that a CEO looks at your ad, so choose your message carefully. These busy decision-makers frequent the journal for 1 key reason; we provide them with the news they need to grow and simplify their business in the most concise and efficient way possible. No fluff, no fillers, just business intelligence. So, how will you get time with these leaders, and how will you utilize that time to capture their interest? #leaders #busy #engage #connect #interest #marketing #brandmessaging #time

If you're in marketing, especially as a leader, you spend most of your time thinking about your company's brand. But what about your own? As it turns out, personal branding is a little more than just a LinkedIn presence, and it can be a pretty powerful way to elevate your own career and your organization's standing at the same time. In fact, 82% of consumers are more likely to trust a company whose leadership team actively engages on social media, according to Edelman. So how do you build a personal brand that makes an impact? Here are four steps to get you started. Don't be surprised if they look familiar. It turns out that the process of building your personal brand isn't all that different from building your business brand. 1. Define your value proposition: What can only you offer? What are you great at, and how can you bring real benefits to your audience? 2. Be consistent: You don't have to post every day, but create a schedule that works for you, and they stick to it when sharing your insights. And don't forget to comment and amplify other voices to create real engagement. 3. Be yourself: This one should go without saying, but being authentic when it comes to your online presence is going to drive a lot more engagement than AI-written posts, generic content, or anything else that doesn't clearly come from you. You're a leader, and people want to hear YOUR voice. 4. Network strategically: Gather a community of peers, thought leaders, and other professionals who think and act the way you do. By creating a real community, you not only amplify your own voice and those of the people around you, but you also make real connections that can help you as your career grows and can become genuine friendships. Remember, your personal brand isn’t just for you—it can be a powerful tool for your company’s success. #PersonalBranding #MarketingLeadership #BrandStrategy #DuskMarketing

Everyone has a brand. But not everyone is leveraging it. In today’s digital landscape, a well-crafted personal brand isn’t just an advantage—it’s a necessity. To elevate your personal brand: 1. Define Your Unique Value: Identify what sets you apart. Your skills, experiences, and passions are your unique selling points. Leave the generic labels behind—be the go-to expert in your niche. 2. Show, Don’t Tell: Share content that reflects your expertise. Consistently post insights, successes, and lessons learned. Look at how Neil Patel uses his blog to showcase his deep knowledge of digital marketing. 3. Engage Authentically: Networking isn’t about collecting connections; it’s about building relationships. Engage genuinely with others’ content. Gary Vaynerchuk’s active engagement on LinkedIn has built him a loyal community. Personal branding is an ongoing process. Don’t wait for opportunities—create them. P.S. Do you think personal branding has become more important than company branding? #PersonalBranding #DigitalMarketing #Leadership

'You're one of the few experts invited to answer' FYI you're not. However, this traditional engagement bait can be a great way to develop thought leadership among your community. If LinkedIn is your go to domain and the one where you stay active often, this is great. Tip for brands: Answer these questions via the profile that was used to create the brand page and see an improved visitors rate over time. If you're still not sure how it works, I can help out. #marketing #marketing101 #worklife
