Truly Great Singers, Perform Well *LIVE* (Tate McRae.. Is one of those singers)🏆 I want you to take a listen to how she works her fancy vocoder mic and nails this Vevo live performance perfectly.. 🎤 (check out the verse starting at 0:36) .. FACT: Tate McRae can actually sing🍾 (Right?) .. If you're just getting up to speed, we've been talking about this new artist, who's already signed to RCA Records, over the last week or so. (the analytics show you're listening) 🎧 📻 .. In this particular clip, I want you to take notice of how she basically outperforms her original studio track *Live.. 🥇 In fact, with a single-shot camera, I would argue she may even outperform her original music video too. (this is difficult and actually takes a lot of talent) .. See, when you've got 10+ dancers and a bunch of lighting and sound technicians, alongside a huge film crew, your *cat could make a great music video.. 🐱😯🤣 .. However strip that down to just you, a couple of skeleton musicians, and only your backing track? 95% of modern artists would probably fail. .. (Why?) Because they're not well rehearsed, they don't have perfect pitch, and they don't have enough actual talent to sustain - or capture - your full attention. The record companies don't want you to notice this though.. 😮😆🤐 They're hoping that you don't look under the hood, you don't check, and you don't even want your favorite artist to try to accomplish this. #TateMcRae fans are 100% different. .. See, Tate (stylized as T8) has fans that sing along with her word-for-word at her live shows. They make strongly worded suggestions, and cleverly worded comments, on almost everything she posts. .. SUMMARY: I haven't been this excited since I first heard an Ariana Grande outtake. 😮 Take a moment and watch this YouTube clip.. 🎬 .. Korey Wells ..

🎶 Reflecting on the 2024 Grammy Performance: Honoring Tradition while Embracing Innovation 🎤 Last night's Grammy performance featuring Luke Combs and Tracy Chapman showcased the beauty of collaboration and the importance of paying homage to musical pioneers while carving out your own unique path. In their performance, we witnessed a seamless fusion of Chapman's timeless classic "Fast Car" with Combs' contemporary sound. It was a reminder that we can learn so much from those who paved the way before us, while still infusing our own style and personality into our craft. As professionals, we can apply this principle to our own careers, whether in music or any other field. By studying the successes and failures of those who came before us, we gain valuable insights and inspiration that can help us navigate our own journey. At the same time, we must never lose sight of our individuality and the unique contributions we can bring to the table. So here's to embracing the wisdom of the past while fearlessly forging ahead with our own creative vision. Let's continue to learn from the legends and legends-in-the-making, honoring their legacy while writing our own chapter in the story of music and innovation. 🌟🎶 #Grammys2024 #MusicalInspiration #Innovation #Legacy #Collaboration P.S. Who else LOL'd at Jay-Z's "When I get nervous I tell the truth" comment?? 😂 P.S.S. 📸 Cred: @NYT

If you watched the Grammy's, Tracy Chapman and Luke Combs's duet was music magic. In case you missed it, watch the clip below. When Luke Combs was asked why did he choose to do a cover of Chapman's Fast Car, he said: “I’m not doing it for anybody else. I’m just doing it for me.” There's an important lesson here... when you create meaning for yourself, you invariably also create for others. #innovators #agedcare #transformationalchange

I've seen a few videos and posts about whether NAMM is "back" or "what is the future of NAMM?" some positive and some negative. In my opinion it depends on your purpose for attending. Some people are there to make deals and some people are there to see and be seen. The industry needs both, however, both of these groups have different needs. I've only been twice, 2023 and 2024, though friends in the industry have tried to convince me to go for the last decade. As someone who has recently come into the business on the manufacturing side I feel like the focus on influencers made it way less effective as an industry trade show than last year, it seemed like more of a fan convention. There was a noticeable amount of minors in attendance, which is a weird environment for business. It's also hard to make good business connections when people around you are looking to cut into the conversation as fans. I actually saw quite a few people involved with more notable brands that intentionally obscured their badges. I also don't quite see how it works on the fan side of things. There are a lot of things competing for attention on the floor. You can be looking at a piece of gear and then there is a showcase or meet and greet at a neighboring booth. Between the noise and limited space/availability, its actually pretty hard to test equipment in the way that gear nerds would like. If you are there for content creation, those same issues make it pretty hard to get good footage and audio. Also, with a lot of brands launching new gear prior to NAMM what is there to see that you haven't seen? What is the solution? IDK, but most people aren't attending all 4 days unless they have a booth. Maybe splitting the show between industry and fan days? The other thing I noticed is how many brands skipped the show all together in favor of a hotel room where they could invite potential clients. Maybe a media room, more sound booths and quiet rooms (though I noticed a lot more of the latter 2)? Either way the show will have to find a way to strike a balance between it's role as a place for brands to court customers, dealers to find new gear to sell and a place for gear fans to geek out.

My new single "Cosmic Flight" is not just a melody; it is dynamic yet meditative house music that evokes the beauty of the universe and invites you to to mentally immerse yourself in the depths of the cosmos. The electronic sounds of modern house music not only reflect the virtuality of the universe but were also produced in healing frequencies of 432 Hz. These frequencies, long associated with spiritual and healing properties, enhance the transformative effect of the music and take the listener on an even deeper journey. https://lnkd.in/eRRHnpUe

Sometimes, it’s all about satisfying basic needs—whether in music or business. Take this line from Future’s latest release "Mixtape Pluto": “Inhalin’ dirty rackies (Achoo), that sht there make me sneeze (Oh, you slime)” The way Big Pluto delivers achoo-ing from dirty/dusty money he made is a simple yet funny punchline :)) That's it, no complex meaning, no deep metaphors, just a straight-up flex of wealth. And guess what? The album dominated the Apple Music charts, occupying the entire top 10 with solo tracks! 🔥 It’s a reminder that potential listeners (and customers) aren’t always looking for complexity. They want something simple yet satisfying—whether it’s music or the products and services we offer. And they’re ready to pay for that. https://lnkd.in/du_V72BF #Future #PlutoMixtape #MusicBusiness #SimplicitySells #WealthFlex #AppleMusic #EntertainmentIndustry #CustomerSatisfaction
