COT data on the S &P data report from Friday last. More than twice as many short positions compared to long positions through the Market makers. We can see that the Market makers and Leveraged funds are short in contrast to institutional money having more longs than shorts. Gonna be interesting to see how this plays out .Link to COT data is in comment section. In the comment section I have also posted a screenshot of non commercial shorts and longs. The Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) calculates the required rate of return on equity (Ke). It's computed as the sum of the risk-free rate (R_f) and the product of beta (β) and the market risk premium (R_m - R_f). For instance, if R_f is 3%, β is 1.2, and R_m is 8%, then Ke = 8.6%. CAPM helps estimate the cost of equity by considering risk factors, but it has limitations, and careful consideration of inputs is crucial for accuracy.
